Problem I faced is that when I run the report to the spill of lines for PDF format to another page without a certain logic. I have a FRS (Financial Reporting Studio, v.11.1.2.3.917 EN Server 11.1.2.3.503.) a report that has accounts in its ranks. It'll take a few good experiences to get the exact same dotted lines-, you will need to test spacing and different font sizes.įRS: Lines pouring out to another page in PDF format If you replace your lines dotted with some lines of periods, you will get the same high quality result in the press but it might look better on the screen. Text is always rendered as optimal as possible, using grey levels (ClearType) rendering to get the best visual result, even at the expense of some blur.įor the graphics, however, Acrobat takes a shortcut and makes whole pixel - I don't think that the function 'improve fine lines' did the best job possible. The main difference is in the file PDF is because the drawing on the screen is optimized for text.

I searched the options, but there is apparently no control to assign the rendering. I'm guessing that there is a difference in rendering between ID and the assocoated PDF. I would hazard ID uses a form any of smoothing/anti-aliasing similar to browser-smoothing of text functions. They print fine, but for web clients display or print jobs, they have poor air, any size, I discovered.

However, once I go to a PDF HQ, they always appear very scrappily, fuzzy pretend or pixelated. No matter the magnification, they are as I would like. I would like to heal now, if possible!īasically, the dotted lines to 1 or 2 pt allure in ID. I use ID3 and this is something that has always bothered me.

Dotted lines rendered wrong in PDF format.
